This month, Super Bowl Sunday morphs into Make-a-Deal Monday as commercial mortgage brokers huddle for the Mortgage Bankers Association's (MBA) annual Commercial Real Estate Finance/Multifamily Housing Convention and Expo, Feb. 5 to 8 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Fla.

In addition to Super Bowl-related events on Feb. 5, the expo features more than 130 exhibitors, 3,600 attendees and numerous other outlets for commercial mortgage professionals.

Speakers include former Major League Baseball stars Jim Palmer and Cal Ripken Jr., as well as MBA economist Douglas Duncan and Chairwoman Regina Lowrie.

"[The event] provides tremendous networking opportunities with thousands of individuals who can provide leads to brokerages and brokers in the commercial network," Lowrie says. "Overall, I think it's another way for commercial members to enhance their knowledge of the business and industry issues."
