Bothell, WA--May 11, 2009--Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators, will launch a new loan matrix in its residential edition's June 2009 print issue through which mortgage brokers can find wholesale mortgage lenders that offer Federal Housing Administration (FHA), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Housing loans.
In addition, brokers can now search for lenders offering FHA, VA and USDA loans on Scotsman Guide's Web site. The free search, launched in May, is available at scotsmanguide.com/govtmatrix. As with the mortgage magazine's other matrix search engines, the government-loan search engine allows brokers to find lenders that fit their specified criteria. When viewing their search results, brokers can save their searches for future use, view program details by company and print their results in a matrix format. Scotsman Guide's online lender directory gives brokers additional contact information for the companies that appear in their search results.
For these government-backed loan programs, mortgage brokers will find that loan-to-value ratios of as much as 97 percent are allowed, as are FICO scores as low as 580. In some cases, bankruptcies and foreclosures also are allowed for some of these loan programs.
Mortgage brokers who wish to receive a free subscription to Scotsman Guide's print or digital editions can sign up at scotsmanguide.com. Scotsman Guide's award-winning wholesale-mortgage-lender online search engines also are available for free to mortgage originators nationwide.
