Bothell, WA--Aug. 24, 2010--Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators, has announced that it recently won three awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). This is the fifth-straight year the mortgage magazine has been honored by ASBPE.

The national mortgage magazine was recognized by ASBPE with gold and silver Azbee Awards. The publication received a silver in the “Best Opening Page/Spread -- Illustration” category for an article titled “Working Harder, Working Smarter” in the August 2009 commercial edition; a gold in the “Best Department (West Region)” category for its monthly Spotlight feature; and a gold in the “Best Column, Contributed (West Region)” category.

 The winning spread included an illustration by Scotsman Guide’s art director, Dennis Wunsch, and was designed by the magazine’s senior designer, Deborah Richardson. The winning Spotlight departments appeared in the May, June and July 2009 issues of Scotsman Guide’s commercial edition and were penned by editor Ivanna C. Sukkar, and the winning column -- Property TypeCast -- is written each month by Reis Inc.’s Victor Calanog.

The awards were announced at the 31st annual Azbee Awards of Excellence celebration in Kansas City, Mo., on Aug. 17.
