Fannie Mae announced it has appointed Katie Jones as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective Aug. 1. In this role, Jones will be a member of Fannie Mae’s management committee and will oversee the company’s human resources function responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive strategy to attract, retain, engage and develop talent while supporting business and strategic priorities. She most recently served as senior vice president and chief HR officer at PRA Group. Prior to that, Jones held senior vice president positions at SunTrust Bank, AIG and Crestar Bank.
M&T Bank named Brooke Cianfichi as head of its newly launched commercial real estate innovation office, an integrated team focused on building comprehensive solutions for commercial real estate (CRE) clients. Cianfichi, an executive vice president at the company, brings almost 20 years of banking, sales, real estate finance and fundraising experience to the role. Joining Cianfichi in the new office are three new hires. They include Lopa Kolluri, senior vice president and business strategy senior manager, who comes to M&T from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she served as an executive for the Federal Housing Administration. Laura Murphy, senior vice president and senior strategic initiatives manager, comes to M&T from TF Cornerstone. And Ashley Mitchell, vice president and lead commercial segment support analyst, joins M&T from the CRE Strategy Team at People’s United Bank.
First Community Mortgage named Andrew Badstubner as its new chief information officer. He has more than 20 years’ experience with digital technology, previously serving as chief information officer at NewRez and Ditech Holding Corp. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Binghamton University and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
UNCLE Credit Union welcomed Michele Murphy as its new vice president of mortgage lending. Murphy began her career in real estate and mortgage lending in 1989, previously working with OE Federal, KeyPoint, Chevron Federal and SF Fire Credit Unions.
Cloudvirga, a fintech focused on point-of-sale automation in the digital mortgage industry, named Maria Moskver as its new president. In her new role, Moskver will lead Cloudvirga’s strategic growth and be responsible for technology investments, new products, brand awareness and enhancements to customer experience. Moskver has been with Cloudvirga for three years, also serving as chief legal and compliance officer, and as chief financial officer during her tenure. She holds a J.D. and an MBA from the University of Denver, as well as a bachelor’s in economics and business from Colorado College.
Doma, a real estate fintech using machine intelligence to build a frictionless home-closing experience, announced the appointment of Mike Smith as CFO. Previously, Smith served as the company’s chief accounting officer and acting CFO. Prior to joining Doma, he served as CAO, director of treasury and interim CFO at Banc of California. He has held several other finance leadership roles throughout his career, including as CAO at LoanDepot and CapitalSource.
Title Alliance announced the hire of Jan Kailey-Boyle as general manager for Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. She will oversee all joint ventures in the states, and has ultimate accountability for profit and loss within the states. She joined the Title Alliance team in late February 2022 with 30 years of experience in escrow, operation management and technical support. She has held multiple vice president and management positions for various title and escrow companies.
