Notable mortgage industry hires and promotions, March 22-March 26

Guaranteed Rate has named Dianne Crosby area manager in northern California as it expands its offices in the region. Crosby, who has worked in the mortgage industry for two decades, joined Guaranteed Rate in 2015. Prior to joining Guaranteed Rate, she held various senior roles at RPM Mortgage, LaSalle Financial Services and Holmgren & Associates. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD in law from the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law.

Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) has announced that Louis Glinn will join the firm as chief risk officer effective April 12. Glinn will lead the company’s comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management Program, managing the company’s overall integrated risk appetite framework, including its enterprise-wide processes and systems for identifying and reporting current and emerging risks. Glinn joined CSS from Cenlar FSB, where he served most recently as chief risk officer. Glinn has also held a variety of senior risk roles with S&P Global, Inc., JPMorgan Chase and Ally Financial.

Realogy Holdings Corp. has announced the appointment of Felicia Williams to its board of directors. Williams has served in senior finance leadership roles at Macy’s for the past 17 years, including a tenure as senior vice president, controller and enterprise risk officer from 2016 to 2020. Prior to Macy’s, she has also served in a variety of treasury and finance positions at The Coca Cola Company. She will join Realogy’s Audit Committee and has been designated an “Audit Committee Financial Expert” by the board. With this appointment, the Realogy Board now consists of 11 directors, 10 of whom are classified as independent directors for purposes of the listing standards of the New York Stock Exchange.

Merchants Capital has announced three new senior hires to the tax credit equity team: Josh Reed, Jillian Flynn and Lindsey Davitt. Reed joins the team as senior vice president and leads Merchants Capital’s Equity Acquisitions group that oversees all lower tier sourcing, pricing, structuring and closing functions. With over a decade of acquisitions and development consulting experience, Reed previously spent 11 years at a national tax credit syndicator and managed a department that underwrote and monitored construction for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects in 30 states. Flynn joins the Merchants team as vice president and chief equity underwriter. She will be responsible for credit, underwriting and risk management for Merchants Capital’s equity acquisitions and fund offerings and sits on all investment approval committees. Prior to joining Merchants Capital, Flynn spent a decade as a manager in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Tax Credit Investment Advisory Services division; before that, she held roles at the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development and the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership. Davitt joins Merchants Capital as vice president of Equity Asset Management, overseeing the equity asset management division. She will manage equity investments in both the development and stabilized phases, including monitoring construction and lease up, overseeing all third-party compliance monitoring, equity draw requests investor reporting and quarterly risk-rating for the LIHTC equity portfolio. Prior to joining Merchants, Davitt was a senior asset manager at Boston Capital and has previously held asset management positions at CBRE Global Investors.

Verity Global Solutions has added John Bordon as senior vice president of technology and loan services. Bordon is tasked with implementing innovative mortgage process optimizations, including artificial intelligence and robotic process automation. Prior to joining Verity, he served as managing director, technology, at Newbold Advisors. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa.

LRES Corporation has announced that Marc Helm has joined its board of directors. Helm, a 43-year veteran of the financial services and mortgage banking industry, currently serves as a partner with Transformation Mortgage Services (TMS) and president and CEO of ReverseAmerica Advisors, Inc. (RAA). Prior to TMS and RAA, he served as president and CEO of Reverse Mortgage Solutions. He also had a decade-long tenure as senior vice president overseeing mortgage operations at Washington Mutual.

Auction.com has announced that Ali Haralson has been promoted to president, a new position in the company that will oversee both sales and operations. Haralson previously served as the company’s chief business development officer since 2017. She has more than 20 years of experience in the servicing industry; prior to joining Auction.com, Haralson was chief operating officer at Specialized Loan Servicing, a company that she co-founded in 2003.
