Nations Lending announced that Mike Towery has signed on as West Coast regional manager. Towery will manage existing branches and teams while also executing the company’s strategic growth plans in the region. Towery, a military veteran who served in the U.S. Navy, joins Nations Lending from Caliber Home Loans, where he served as a regional vice president. Prior to that, he spent nearly seven years at loanDepot, with additional experience at Countrywide Home Loans.
Evolve Mortgage Services announced three executive promotions. Mark Hughes was promoted to president of capital markets. He has been with Evolve for two years, and prior to that, he held positions at New Diligence Advisors, Clayton Holdings, LenderLive, CoreLogic, Bohan Group and Salomon Brothers. He has a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. Tim Anderson has been promoted to president of e-mortgage. He came to Evolve from Mortgage Connect, following roles at Pavaso, DocMagic, ISGN, Black Knight, Docutech, Freddie Mac and others. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Washington. Gregg Meyer has been promoted to president of originations. He has been with Evolve since 2008, after holding positions at Aurora Loan Services and Sebring Capital. He carries a degree in sociology and economics from Southern Oregon University.
BMO Harris Bank hired Jennifer Brown as a senior mortgage banker. She specializes in financing for physicians and dentists, jumbo loans, new construction and rehab loans. She is licensed nationwide.
NMI Holdings Inc., parent company of National Mortgage Insurance Corp., announced that Adam Pollitzer, currently the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, will be appointed as president and CEO effective Jan. 1, 2022. Pollitzer also will join the company’s board of directors when he assumes the new role. He joined the company as executive vice president and CFO in 2017.
WFG National Title Insurance Co. announced that Monique Modica Vasek has joined the company as South Texas regional manager and Houston division president. In her newly created role, Modica Vasek will head WFG’s growth into three new Texas markets, expanding its San Antonio division while creating an Austin and Houston division to join WFG’s existing Dallas-Fort Worth division. Modica Vasek began her career in title insurance on the sales side in 2002, later having roles as a division sales manager in Austin and Houston for First American Title and Old Republic Title. Most recently, she served as a vice president and chief operations manager in Houston for Old Republic Title.
