Kind Lending has announced the appointment of Tammy Richards as its new chief operating officer. Richards brings over 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry and remains the CEO of LendArch, a consulting firm she founded in 2021. She has also held executive leadership positions at Bank of America and Caliber Home Loans, most recently serving chief operating officer for LoanDepot.
Movement Mortgage has announced the addition of Jeff Coady as Greater Houston market leader. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with almost 20 of those years in leadership roles. In his new role, Jeff will oversee the greater Houston market, leading and growing Movement’s team of mortgage professionals. Movement has also added Joe Thompson as regional director. In the role, Thompson will serve more than 60 loan officers across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. He has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the region, including as senior vice president/regional sales manager at PrimeLending. He is an alumnus of Rice University, where he earned three degrees.
U.S. Bank has appointed John Hummel as executive vice president and retail home lending executive for the East market. Previously, he led the correspondent and Housing Finance Agency (HFA) teams at U.S. Bank. Before joining U.S. Bank in 2017, he served as senior executive vice president at Pacific Union and as senior vice president at CMG Financial. He also spent 15 years in various mortgage leadership positions at Citigroup.
Fathom Holdings has announced the appointment of Jon Gwin as its new chief operating officer. Gwin brings over 20 years of leadership experience in legal, compliance, and sales roles within the securities, insurance, mortgage, and real estate industries to his new position. Gwin has held executive roles at American Financial Network, Wachovia Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Accredited Home Lenders. He holds a degree in business \administration from the University of San Diego and a juris doctorate from Purdue Global Law School.
Incenter has promoted Sara Parrish to chief operating officer. She will also remain president of Incenter company CampusDoor, a position she assumed in 2022. Before joining CampusDoor, she held various operational and portfolio management roles at the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency. Parrish holds a master of science from Duquesne University and a bachelor of arts from Ursinus College.
Greystone has announced that Shaya Ackerman has joined the firm as managing director, focusing on arranging financing for multifamily investors and developers nationwide. He brings almost two decades of experience to Greystone. Prior to joining the firm, he held positions at Meridian Capital Group and Eastern Union Funding.
