Prosperity Now announced that Dave Uejio has joined the nonprofit advocacy group as chief operating officer, where he will oversee internal operations, enterprise systems and performance management. He most recently served as associate director for policy, data and oversight at the Federal Housing Finance Agency and previously spent 12 years at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), including a 10-month stint as acting director.
Prosperity Now also announced the promotion of Chrissi Johnson to chief strategy and innovation officer after serving as vice president of external affairs. Her previous leadership roles include positions at the CFPB and Rocket Companies. She also founded the Alinement Initiative, a nonprofit focused on advancing mission-aligned solutions in real estate and financial technology.
The National Association of Realtors announced the appointment of Bennett Richardson as senior vice president of marketing and communications and Raffi Williams as vice president of communications. Richardson previously served in leadership roles at Semafor, Google and Politico Media Group. Williams previously held senior communications roles at the Managed Funds Association, Edelman Smithfield, the Federal Housing Finance Agency and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Rate announced that Chuck MacAnanny has joined the company as a loan officer in Mount Pleasant, S.C. MacAnanny previously spent 11 years at Embrace Home Loans, where he was a Chairman’s Club member twice and a President’s Club member for eight consecutive years.
Rate also announced the addition of Amy Dolan as a new loan officer serving the greater Philadelphia area. With more than two decades of mortgage experience, Dolan is a seven-time All-Star Club Award recipient and has also led a local youth and high school wrestling program for the past 14 years.
Certainty Home Lending, a Rate company, announced that it has hired Tony Bardin to serve as vice president of mortgage lending. Based in Los Angeles, Bardin has over 30 years of experience as a mortgage originator, mostly with Wells Fargo.
The Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) announced the election of Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation Tony Salazar as the new chair of the CSBS board of directors. Other newly installed officers to the CSBS executive committee include Rhoshunda Kelly, commissioner of the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance, as chair elect; Kelly Lammers, director of the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance, as vice chair; Susannah Marshall, commissioner of the Arkansas State Bank Department, as treasurer; Shaun Berrett, commissioner of the Utah Department of Financial Institutions, as secretary; and Charlie Clark, director of the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, as immediate past chair.
Kind Lending announced the appointment of Geri Farr as senior vice president of retail sales for the West region. Farr has more than a decade of leadership experience in the mortgage industry, most recently as a divisional vice president at Bay Equity Home Loans.
Guaranteed Rate Affinity (GRA) announced that it has appointed Dino Guadagnino as regional vice president of reverse mortgages. Guadagnino, who has specialized in reverse mortgages since 2003, will work closely with traditional loan officers to help them get certified in reverse lending.
GRA also announced the return of Kevin Dilday as area sales manager for the mid-Atlantic region. With more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Dilday previously served as a regional manager at GRA before leaving the company in 2022.
Merchants Bank announced that it has hired Juan “Jay” Arana as a senior business development officer in its Small Business Administration (SBA) lending division. Based in Southington, Conn., Arana previously served in senior roles at Everwise Credit Union, Sun State Bank and Growth Commercial Capital. He also worked as a senior loan officer for SBA.
Click n’ Close announced that Tony Catanese has joined the company as a regional sales manager. Catanese, who has more than 34 years of experience in wholesale mortgage lending, will lead the company’s wholesale and non-delegated expansion across the East Coast.
NEO Home Loans announced the addition of Beny Rabuchin as a mortgage strategist. Based in Bend, Ore., Rabuchin plans to utilize the company’s proprietary AI-powered loan origination system, Tinman.
Title insurance agency Proper Title LLC announced the addition of Jake Halter to its escrow services team. Based in Chicago, Halter will serve as a national commercial escrow officer, a residential escrow officer for the Chicago area and the company’s escrow manager for the northwest Indiana region.
Mortgage services provider ServiceLink announced the hiring of Liz Green as its senior vice president of valuation solutions. Green will lead efforts for the upcoming Uniform Appraisal Dataset 3.6 transition and will also be involved with application of data standards, collateral risk assessment, appraisal modernization and emerging technologies.
National field services company Spectrum Solutions announced that it has promoted Talia Ramirez to president, where she will oversee day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives and financial planning, as well as sales and marketing efforts. With 18 years of experience in mortgage servicing and default management, Ramirez previously served as the company’s senior vice president.
Mortgage and title fraud prevention company FundingShield announced that Karthik Kumar has joined its advisory board. Kumar is the founder and chief operating officer of mortgage origination consulting firm LendArch and previously served as the global mortgage practice head at Tata Consultancy Services.
Mortgage servicing technology company Sagent announced that it has appointed Kyle Draisey as chief information security officer and head of cybersecurity. Draisey will lead cybersecurity strategy, governance and operations for Sagent as it deploys its Dara platform to U.S. mortgage servicers.
