Notable mortgage industry additions and promotions, Sept. 11-15

LoanDepot announced the appointment of Dan Hanson to a newly created role as executive director of enterprise partnerships and acquisitions. Hanson will be responsible for developing new revenue-generating opportunities, including national referral relationships and acquisitions. In close collaboration with the company’s senior leadership team, he will also work to expand LoanDepot’s existing portfolio of programs and partnerships. Hanson joined LoanDepot in 2011 and has served the company in a variety of leadership roles, including executive director of in-market production. He brings nearly 40 years of mortgage experience and industry relationships to this new position.

US Mortgage Corp. appointed Nino Saso as its new chief production officer. In this role, Saso will be responsible for overseeing sales on a national level, spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at driving expansion, fostering innovation and advancing the company’s market presence. 

Nations Lending announced that Bruce Laukaitis and John Zura will lead two newly opened New Jersey branches in Sparta and Toms River, respectively. Laukaitis and Zura each bring more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending to their new roles.

Snapdocs announced the promotion of Michael Sachdev from president to CEO. Sachdev succeeds Snapdocs founder Aaron King, who will take on the role of executive chairman. As CEO, Sachdev will oversee all company operations and business strategy, with input and oversight from the company’s board. As executive chairman, King will continue to play a critical full-time role at Snapdocs, advising the company’s product strategy while connecting with customers and the market at large. Sachdev joined Snapdocs as president in 2021. Prior to that, he served as chief product officer at Sunrun. A graduate of Columbia Law School, Sachdev began his career as an attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP and as special assistant attorney general for the District of Columbia.

Lender Toolkit promoted Tammi Alexander to chief operating officer. Previously, Alexander served as senior director of mortgage technology for the company. Alexander has more than 25 years of experience in financial services and the mortgage industry. Prior to Lender Toolkit, she held leadership roles at GMFS Mortgage, Guardian Mortgage and BB&T Bank. In her new role, Alexander will continue to lead the company’s technology, operations, business development and customer experience initiatives.
