Notable mortgage industry hires and promotions, November 16-November 20

 
Yannaccone

Realogy Holdings Corp. has announced the appointment of Susan Yannaccone as president and chief executive officer of Realogy Franchise Group, effective November 30. During her tenure at Realogy, Yannaccone, who joined Realogy in 2015, has held senior franchise and owned brokerage leadership positions. Before joining the company, she had more than 15 years’ franchise experience in both commercial and residential real estate. Prior to joining Realogy, Yannaccone served as senior vice president of network services for HSF Affiliates and had previously served as vice president of operations for Real Living Real Estate. She began her career in commercial real estate before transitioning into residential roles with GMAC HomeServices and Brookfield Residential Property Services. She is a graduate of Clemson University.

 
Hutchins

Freddie Mac has named Michael Hutchins interim president effective November 16. While serving as president, Hutchins will retain his duties as executive vice president of Freddie Mac’s Investments & Capital Markets division. The leaders of the company’s Single-Family, Multifamily, Human Resources, Information Technology, Administration, and Enterprise Operations divisions will report to Hutchins in his role as interim president. He has been in financial services for more than three decades, most recently as CEO and co-founder of PrinceRidge. Prior to PrinceRidge, he held leadership positions with UBS and Salomon Brothers.

 
Johnson

Mortgage Network Inc. has announced that Alisa Johnson has joined the company as director of talent acquisition and development. In her new role, she will work with top executives to develop and execute strategies designed to attract personnel in key markets throughout the eastern United States. She has almost 20 years’ experience in the recruitment and career development arena, most recently serving as assistant vice president/senior talent acquisition specialist at Camden National Bank. She will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Danvers, Massachusetts, working remotely from her home in Maine during the pandemic.

Black Knight has announced that Ryan Hallett has been appointed the company’s chief risk officer. In her new role, Hallett will lead Black Knight’s Enterprise Risk Management group, where she will be responsible for enhancing and executing on the company’s strategic security and risk management plans, including identifying and mitigating potential business risks; overseeing physical security of Black Knight’s campuses; and managing the company’s enterprise business continuity efforts. She has been with the company for six years and has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry.

Wacha

LenderClose has announced the promotion of Melanie Wacha to lead operations specialist and the hiring of Cory Ellerd, who will serve as an operations specialist. With more than 10 combined years in mortgage and real estate customer service and management, Wacha joined the company in December 2019 as operations specialist. Ellerd joins the company from UnityPoint Health and has prior experience at Equifax.

Promontory MortgagePath has announced it has hired Diane Capers and Greg Bruns as regional vice presidents in the company’s sales division. A previous sales director with more than 20 years of experience, Capers has experience working in business development at several mortgage banking firms, including Caliber Home Loans and Lenders One. She has also expanded her experience into the digital mortgage technology sector, most recently with Optimal Blue. Bruns brings more than a decade of experience in commercial banking and mortgage technology, most recently with Redbridge Debt & Treasury Advisory.
