Notable mortgage industry hires and promotions, January 11-January 15

 
Bon Salle

Home Point Capital has announced the appointment of mortgage industry veteran Andrew Bon Salle as its chairman of the board. Bon Salle joins Home Point Capital following a nearly 30-year tenure at Fannie Mae, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Single-Family Business. Bon Salle has also served as vice president for portfolio management and senior vice president for capital markets – lender channel for the government-sponsored enterprise. Prior to joining Fannie, he worked with Hamilton Carter Smith.

 
Mancuso

Equity Prime Mortgage (EPM) appointed Philip Mancuso president effective Jan. 1. Mancuso, previously EPM’s chief revenue officer, has over 30 years of mortgage industry experience, including as executive vice president of The Money Store. He will be overseeing many aspects of the company, including capital markets, pooling, securitization and fulfillment, finance, human resources, compliance, analytics and marketing.

 
Bradley

Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation has announced that Emmy-winning film producer and director Kirby Bradley has joined its executive team as Chief Content Officer. At Fairway, Bradley will launch a newsroom to develop multimedia content. Bradley’s video content for HBO, CNN, ESPN and numerous digital outlets has been recognized with 33 Emmys, three Peabody Awards and two DuPonts. He also served as vice president of programming and production for HBO.

 
Adams

Homebridge Financial Services has added John Adams in the role of regional manager. A 25-year mortgage industry veteran, Adams joins Homebridge from First Citizens Bank, where he served as regional mortgage sales manager. He has also held positions at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and Wachovia. He currently serves as vice president for the Charlotte Regional Mortgage Lenders Association. While Adams will be based in the Charlotte metro area, he will be looking to build Homebridge’s presence throughout Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill (Triangle area), Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point (Piedmont Triad), western North Carolina and the coastal regions.

Fries

SLK Global Solutions has added Ken Fries as vice president of business development. In his new role, Ken will oversee the growth of the company’s Property & Casualty Insurance and Lender Placed Insurance solutions. He has more than 37 years of experience with property and casualty insurance carriers, independent agency operations and sales functions. He most recently served as president at Realogy Holdings Corp.’s Castle Edge Insurance Agency. He has also held leadership roles at Mass Mutual, Hartford and Aetna.

 
Holmes

First Community Mortgage (FCM) has named Eric Holmes assistant vice president. Holmes, who has 25 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, serves on the board of the Columbus Mortgage Bankers Association and is chair of the CMBA’s Ethics Committee.

 
Mullis

Atlantic Home Mortgage announced Greg Mullis has joined the company’s Alpharetta, Georgia, branch as a mortgage loan officer. Mullis has eight years of experience in finance, accounting and retail sales.

Greystone has announced that Michael Zampetti Jr. has joined the Commercial Finance team led by Scott Chisholm, based in New York, as managing director. In this role, Zampetti will focus on loan production across an array of platforms while working to expand the firm’s lending activities to a broader scope of commercial asset classes. Zampetti brings to Greystone 20 years of CRE lending, asset management and securitization experience, coming to Greystone after seven years at CIBC. Prior to CIBC, Zampetti spent time at CWCapital, FitchRatings and Credit Suisse.
