David Brooks is founder and CEO of Cirrus, a fintech provider of cloud-based document management software. With 20 years of broad financial-services industry experience, Brooks has held various positions with BB&T, Deloitte, Citigroup Global Markets, Merrill Lynch and Volvo Commercial Finance, both in the U.S. and abroad. He has led numerous IT-related projects during this time, including workflow redesign, adoption of customer relationship management systems and the creation of BB&T’s federally assisted bank-merger model. Brooks graduated from Wake Forest University with a dual degree in business and German, and he holds a master’s degree from Oxford University.
