Notable mortgage industry hires and promotions, March 8-March 12

 
Fendelman

Roostify has added Roger Fendelman as its first chief compliance officer. Fendelman will oversee the company’s governance, risk, compliance, and information security programs. He has nearly 25 years of experience at the intersection of compliance and technology. He co-founded Garris Horn and Firstline Compliance, and has also worked at KKR-backed Nexstar Financial and Citi.

 
Wayman

Citi has announced that Brad Wayman has been elevated to head of U.S. Mortgage. He has served this role on an interim basis since December and has been with Citi since 2003, most recently serving as head of U.S. Mortgage Sales. In his new role, he will continue to drive a unified strategy across Citi’s U.S. Retail Bank. Prior to Citi, Brad began his career in real estate and served in both the White House and Department of Justice during the early 2000s.

 
Christensen

CBC Mortgage Agency has named Tai Christensen its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) officer for 2021. In her new role, Christensen will lead an effort to promote a culture of inclusion for employees of all races, ethnicities and gender identities. Christensen began her real estate finance career more than 14 years ago as a mortgage processor. She joined CBCMA in 2018 and has served in her role as director of government affairs since 2019, a position she will maintain alongside her new role.


Guaranteed Rate
has added Tina McWard as producing branch manager and Trina Wright as vice president of mortgage lending in the company’s Kirkwood, Missouri, branch. McWard and Wright, who are twins, have been in the mortgage industry for more than 20 years. They will work as a team to guide borrowers through all aspects of the loan process while helping Guaranteed Rate build on its market growth in Missouri.

 
Deitch

FormFree has announced the election of James Deitch to its board of directors. Deitch, a mortgage industry veteran of three decades, has counseled over 200 financial services businesses, served as president and CEO of five federally chartered banks and served on advisory panels for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Truist and Wells Fargo. He is the founder and CEO of Teraverde, a group of companies that helps banks and mortgage bankers streamline operations and improve processes and profitability while staying fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

First Community Mortgage (FCM) has named Cassidy Spencer vice president. She has nearly 20 years’ experience in the industry — holding a real estate broker’s license for 19 years — and can originate mortgages for consumers in the many markets in which FCM is licensed across the country.

 
Belenky

Top of Mind Networks has announced the promotion of Nick Belenky to chief revenue officer. In this elevated role, Belenky will lead Top of Mind’s marketing, sales and customer experience teams. Belenky joined Top of Mind in January 2020 as executive vice president of sales; prior to Top of Mind, Belenky was the director of sales at CardinalCommerce. His career also includes management roles at CEIA USA and Edgerton Corporation.

 
Hillen

The StoneHill Group announced that Dave Hillen has been appointed director of Credit Administration for Fulfillment Services. In his new role, he will provide senior leadership responsible for strategy and operational execution of the company’s credit-related loan origination fulfillment services that serve our clients business process outsourcing needs. He will oversee infrastructure expansion, frontline underwriting capacity management, credit process and technology initiatives, and new business development, among other things. He has previously spent time at US Bank, GMAC, Lehman Brothers and JPMorgan Chase in key operations leadership roles.

 
Montgomery

Entra Solutions has announced Brandon Montgomery has joined the company as national sales director. Montgomery will work with realtors, lenders and attorneys to simplify and optimize their real estate title and escrow relationships. Most recently, Montgomery served as a title and escrow lead at Old Republic Title and has also worked as a banker and loan closer at Wells Fargo.
