Notable mortgage industry additions and promotions, Aug. 21-25

New American Funding (NAF) announced the expansion of its executive leadership team with the appointment of Andrew Strickman as chief marketing officer. Prior to joining NAF, Strickman led marketing at Care Access and has spent the past few years advising purpose-focused startups and nonprofit organizations. He also spent eight years as the senior vice president, head of brand and chief creative officer at Realtor.com, as well as two years leading major campaign development and execution in global consumer marketing at Yahoo.

CMG Home Loans, the retail division of CMG Financial, welcomed area sales manager Mike Wise. Wise, who brings more than 30 years of industry experience to CMG, previously founded Capstone Direct Mortgage Financing.

Nations Lending announced the hiring of Jennifer Smith as branch manager of its newest branch in Orlando, serving the city as well as the broader Florida region.

Cenlar FSB announced three promotions: Jacob Foerter to director of financial planning and analysis; Andrea Leisten to director of corporate education; and Laura Ann Pontelandolfo to director and assistant general counsel. Foerter will be responsible for staffing and revenue forecasting. He joined Cenlar 10 years ago and has held multiple roles, most recently as senior finance manager. He was also a senior financial analyst and performance management analyst. Leisten has been a part of the Cenlar team since 2013, when she joined as the e-learning education manager and expanded to senior manager of instructional design. In her new role, she will oversee the instructional design and delivery functions of the corporate education team, including new-hire orientation, functional training education material and delivery, corporate compliance education, and leadership/management education. Prior to Cenlar, Leisten was with Sallie Mae as a leader in training services and instructional design. Pontelandolfo will advise the organization regarding new and existing federal and state statutes and regulations. She will also offer legal interpretations to implement any required changes and provide guidance to the organization regarding privacy issues. Before joining Cenlar in 2016, she worked at the Office of the Public Defender and Office of Dispute Settlement in Trenton, New Jersey. Additionally, she was an associate at the law firm of McCabe, Weisberg and Conway P.C. She received her J.D. and MBA from Rutgers University at Camden and completed her undergraduate studies at Temple University.

Mobility Market Intelligence (MMI) announced that Heidi Iverson was promoted to vice president of strategic partnerships. In this role, Iverson will lead sales and customer success efforts focused on strategic relationships in the mortgage and real estate sectors. Iverson has been with MMI since 2022, previously serving as regional director of growth.

TitleLook named Jeremy Potter to the new position of president. Potter had previously been working with TitleLook as a strategic advisor. He most recently served as Stavvy’s vice president of product strategy and, prior to that, held the role of senior director of capital markets for Rocket Companies. Potter earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington.
