Zillow Group has announced that longtime executive and chief operating officer Jeremy Wacksman has been promoted to CEO and appointed to the company’s board of directors. Wacksman joined Zillow from Microsoft in 2009 and has earned multiple promotions throughout his 15 years at Zillow, including as a product leader, chief marketing officer and, for the past three years, COO.
Rocket Companies has added Glenn McGillivray as chief people and places officer. In the newly created position, leads the teams responsible for cultivating and sustaining Rocket’s culture and engagement. McGillivray brings over 30 years of expertise in human resources and leadership to his role, including his most recent role as vice president of people and places for the Consumer Group at Intuit.
LendingPoint has announced the appointment of Shawn Stone as the company’s new CEO and member of the board. Stone brings over 25 years of experience in online loan origination, loan servicing operations, credit and capital markets, including more than 20 years at Mr. Cooper. He held numerous executive leadership positions across the entire platform, including chief revenue and production officer as well as executive founder and president of real estate and mortgage services subsidiary Xome. Prior to joining LendingPoint, Stone was a senior adviser for Bayview Asset Management and served as the CEO and a member of the board of directors for Renovate America.
Brennan Investment Group has announced the addition of Zane Smith as vice president for the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Prior to joining Brennan Investment Group, Smith served as the vice president of investments at MoxieBridge and senior analyst at Colony Industrial.
Down Payment Resource recently added three new team members: Veronica Chapa, Lorrie Johnson and Lisa Rhodes. As sales engineer, Chapa will accelerate customer acquisition, revenue growth and market penetration. She has an extensive mortgage industry background, having served in various roles at mortgage lenders and mortgage technology companies, including Optimal Blue and Ellie Mae (now ICE Mortgage Technology). As a customer success specialist, Johnson will work with lender and real estate clients to coordinate customer success initiatives including onboarding, adoption and retention efforts. And as a program specialist, Rhodes will support collecting, monitoring and managing detailed eligibility data and program requirements for more than 2,300 DPA programs from 1,200 providers. Before joining DPR, Rhodes served in various positions, including as Housing Finance Agency program administrator, for 17 years at U.S. Bank.
Title industry tech provider VizionX has named industry veteran Terri Hanson as president and CEO. Hanson, who was previously VizionX’s vice president, partnership and customer advocacy, will be responsible for the strategic direction as well as the day-to-day management of the firm. She has served the title and technology industries for 27 years, having served previously as vice president of Proplogix marketplace initiatives with Proplogix. She also served as vice president, strategic planning and customer experience with Adeptive Software and has held multiple roles throughout her career with Stewart Title, most recently senior director, business solutions.
