Notable mortgage industry additions and promotions, Oct. 30-Nov. 3

Cenlar FSB announced that David Schneider was appointed as president. He formerly served as the company’s chief financial officer. John Mezzasalma – previously Cenlar’s senior vice president of finance – was named acting chief financial officer. Prior to joining Cenlar as CFO this year, Schneider was president of CitiMortgage, president of WaMu Home Loans, CEO of Vericrest, president of Ditech, CEO of Stearns Lending and head of J.P Morgan’s national servicing and default operations. Mezzasalma joined Cenlar in 2015 as vice president and chief accounting officer before beign promoted to senior vice president three years ago. Prior to Cenlar, he was a senior manager with KPMG.

TPO Go announced the arrival of Katie Plezia, Kim Kriel and Brice Waterman as account executives. Plezia, Kriel and Waterman each bring more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience across all lending channels, including roles in sales production and management as well as operations management.

Arc Home added Brian Devlin as president. Additionally, Devlin is set to assume the role of CEO following a transition period with current CEO Richard Bradfield, who is leaving the firm to embark on new opportunities.

Certified Mortgage Planners named Dennis Waxman to the executive team as chief sales officer.  Waxman has more than 33 years of mortgage lending experience, previously with Amerant Wholesale Mortgage, Kind Lending and Stearns Lending. He graduated from Rollins College.
