As the outgoing acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) prepares to testify before both chambers of Congress this week, a new poll of likely midterm voters was released Tuesday, showing strong bipartisan support for the financial watchdog agency.
Russell Vought is scheduled to appear before the House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday and the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee on Thursday.
