Notable mortgage industry hires and promotions, July 6-July 9

Keystone Funding has announced the appointment of Kevin P. Harrigan as chairman of its board of directors. Harrigan most recently served as president and CEO of NewRez. His professional experience also includes serving as president of Keybank’s lending division, president of an independent multi-state, multi-channel mortgage bank, and multiple senior management roles at Bank of America.

Greystone has announced that Karen Ford has joined as a vice president on the FHA lending team. Based in Mississippi, Ford will serve with Lisa Anderson, managing director for FHA lending, in a leadership role on the FHA platform. Ford has worked in the FHA multifamily and healthcare loan industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining Greystone, she served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Love Funding, where she worked for more than 25 years. She also previously served as COO of SVN, Southgate Realty LLC.

Guaranty Home Mortgage Corporation has announced the addition of Grace Sweeney as director of marketing. She is new to the mortgage industry, bringing more than six years of experience in healthcare as a marketing senior analyst at Cigna. She is a graduate of Belmont University with an MBA in business administration, and Birmingham Southern College with a bachelor of science in business administration.

Bee Mortgage App has announced that investor Scott Miller, who took significant stake in the company’s latest seed round, has also joined its board. Miller started his career at Ernst & Young, serving in numerous fintech leadership roles since. He earned his master’s degree in accounting from Manchester University.

ChainLogix Mortgage Solutions announced that Jane Jaeger is joining the company as vice president, Property Tax Intelligence and Special Projects Group. She will focus on developing new solutions for tax servicing, expanding the company’s automated product offerings, and leading the employee training and development for these services. She has over 30 years’ experience in operations, concept workflow development and documentation as well as implementation.

Evolve Mortgage Services has added Felicia Grimes as vice president of the company’s eMortgage division. Grimes joins Evolve after the company closed its acquisition of E-Notary Seal, which Grimes founded in 2019. Prior to founding E-Notary Seal, she held positions at NotaryCam, Notarize and Santander Consumer. She holds a bachelor of applied science degree from Purdue University Global.

BlackFin Group has tapped Cecilia Janson, a 20-year mortgage industry veteran, as partner and chief delivery officer. In her new role, she will head BlackFin Group’s implementation consultancy. Janson began her career as a mortgage loan processor in 2001 for First Funding, advancing to vice president and director of mortgage operations for Atlantic Bank & Trust N.A. by 2005. Most recently, she served as Vice-President of Business Risk Management and System Implementations for South State Bank, N.A. She holds a degree in corporate communications with a concentration in human resources and psychology from College of Charleston.
