In the eastern Washington farmland near the small town of Burbank, Amazon’s plans for a massive data center campus have hit a minor snag.
The 134-acre project, planned for a site a short distance southeast from the confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers, was put on hold in late June as the Walla Walla County Community Development Department sought more environmental and infrastructure details, including a traffic study.
