Dovenmuehle Mortgage has announced today that Robert Howerton has joined the organization as chief information officer. In this role, his responsibilities include maintaining and expanding Dovenmuehle’s current information technology infrastructure. Howerton brings more than 20 years of IT experience, most recently as leader platform security engineer at IBM. His career history also includes experience as the head of IT operations and engineering at Santander Consumer USA; vice president of infrastructure at Mr. Cooper; and technology architect and global operations leader at The Kraft Heinz Company. He is currently working toward his master’s degree in biomechanics at Texas A&M University.

Haven Servicing has announced that Daniel Wallace has been appointed CEO. Jonathan Chao, co-founder and CEO, will transition to chief product officer. Wallace joins Haven from Figure Technologies, where he served as general manager of lending. Prior to Figure, Wallace was the CEO of FirstKey Mortgage, was co-founder and managing partner at Capital Crossing, and started his career at Lehman Brothers, where he was a managing director.

Click n’ Close has hired Ken Weislak as business development manager for the Wholesale division and Travis Sharpe as the operations manager for the company’s Correspondent division. Weislak will focus on recruiting and onboarding third-party originators (TPOs) to expand Click n’ Close’s national footprint, while Sharpe will be responsible for all operational aspects of the division. Most recently, Weislak served as vice president of the Central States region for Kind Lending’s wholesale/non-delegated division. He has also led sales efforts in the TPO channel for Plaza Home Mortgage, Aegis Wholesale and Fleet Mortgage Corp. Sharpe, meanwhile, joins Click n’ Close from Mr. Cooper, where he worked for nearly 15 years, starting as a loan officer. His last role was Vice President of Capital Market Operations.

Churchill Stateside Group has announced that Anthony Magnano and William Meeker have joined the team, each in the position of vice president, production officer, health care and multifamily. Anthony Magnano has over 13 years of experience in healthcare and real estate finance; he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Canisius College.

Wangard Partners has announced the appointment of Matt Moroney as CEO, effective immediately. Simultaneously, Stewart Wangard will transition from CEO to executive chairman of the board.

Mortgage Machine Services, a provider of digital origination technology to residential mortgage lenders, announced Dan McGrew has joined the company as director of sales. In this role, McGrew will be responsible for bringing the company’s digital mortgage innovations to market, including the company’s flagship loan origination system (LOS) Mortgage Machine. Previously, McGrew was the chief operating officer and senior vice president of sales at Pavaso and also spent six years as the president of IT Services.
