ServiceLink added three new hires to its origination division. Each will be responsible for driving client growth strategy for originations products. Joe Amoroso joins ServiceLink as a vice president and national sales executive. He most recently worked at UCLS Universal Component Lender Services and for nine years prior led Indeed Abstract, a captive title company he built for HomeBridge Financial Services. He also held leadership roles at REMN, CitiMortgage, Optimum Financial Services and Fairbank Mortgage Corp. Laurinda Clemente joins ServiceLink as a national sales executive. Clemente spent 21 years at MERS and has experience as a mortgage lender, government liaison and consultant to various mortgage-related enterprises. Tom Lum also joins ServiceLink as a national sales executive. He began his mortgage career at Millenium Bank and was most recently with Village Capital & Investments LLC.

Proper Rate appointed Peter Boomer as president. With 30 years of experience, Boomer will be responsible for the overall direction of the business, including oversight of its strategic growth and overall direction of its programs, products and services. Boomer had been serving in the role of executive vice president for Guaranteed Rate prior to his appointment. Prior to joining Guaranteed Rate, he served with PNC Bank for more than 12 years and with JPMorgan Chase for more than 20 years.

UMortgage announced that Patton Gade has joined its team as national director of military lending. In this role, Gade will continue to originate loans while leading UMortgage’s new military lending division.

Click n’ Close announced Kara Lamphere joined the organization as chief operating officer. Lamphere, who has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, previously served as COO at InterLinc Mortgage and has held executive-level roles at Guaranteed Rate, Mid America Mortgage, CMG Financial, Prime Lending, First Command Bank and Alaska USA Federal Credit Union.

Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group announced that John Pyne joined the company as a producing area manager. With 20-plus years of experience, Pyne will be tasked with expanding Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group’s presence in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, developing effective technology workflows, and enhancing existing product and program mixes.
