Notable mortgage industry hires and promotions, June 28-July 2

LoanDepot has announced that Karin Lockovitch has joined the company as executive vice president, chief risk officer. She will be responsible for all aspects of enterprise risk management. She previously held the positions of executive vice president, chief compliance officer for both Bank of the West/BNP Paribas and Zions Bancorporation, and chief compliance officer for Consumer Banking at SunTrust. She was senior director of the Enterprise Risk program at Ally Financial; chief risk officer at Target Bank; and held chief credit officer and financial risk related roles at Lehman Brothers and American Express. The company also announced the appointment of George Brady as chief digital officer, effective July 6. Brady will oversee all of loanDepot’s technology capabilities, including its leading proprietary platform, mello, with a specific focus on spearheading loanDepot’s technological innovation. Most recently, he held the title of chief technology officer at Capital One, and also held technology leadership roles at Fidelity Investments and Goldman Sachs & Co, among other major financial institutions.

Guaranty Home Mortgage Corporation has announced the addition of Bernita Hill, senior vice president, director of mortgage operations. She brings more than 34 years’ experience in mortgage lending. Hill is a graduate of Life Christian University with an associate degree in theology.

Province Mortgage Associates announced that Rebecca Bouley has joined its team as a senior mortgage Advisor. Becky spent the first 22 years of her career with Home Loan Investment Bank and became vice president of servicing and collections.

SitusAMC has announced that Garry P. Herdler has been appointed chief financial officer. In his role, Herdler is responsible for advancement of SitusAMC’s processes, systems, funding, and financial strategies globally. He brings over 27 years as a chief financial officer, investment banker, certified public accountant, tax advisor and private equity management consultant in numerous industries. Previously, he was senior vice president and CFO of StoneMor Partners L.P., and has served a senior director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement Group and CFO of QuadReal Property Group.

Greystone has announced that Alison Coen has joined as a senior managing director in the firm’s CMBS lending group, based in New York. In this role, Coen will focus on CMBS loan production. With 25 years of relevant industry experience, she joins Greystone from Barclays, where she was a managing director. Prior to her time at Barclays, she was a director at Natixis Real Estate Finance and spent almost six years at Citigroup. Coen received a bachelor of science in accountancy from the University of Illinois.

Archer has hired Miles Pratt as managing director – real estate acquisitions. In this role, Pratt is responsible for identifying and pursuing investment opportunities across the United States on behalf of Archer and its clients. He is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with private and institutional investors. Prior to joining Archer, Pratt served as principal of Glade Street Capital and spent more than nine years with McCaffery Interests.
